DNASecure recognizes the sensitivity and legitimate concern surrounding DNA. Preparation of the DNASecure Cards and DNASecure Profile does not involve any testing for diseases, race or matching for purposes of paternity or criminal information. The testing merely confirms that the extracted DNA is suitable for analysis. The laboratory staff is bound by government privacy laws such as HIPAA, as well as stringent corporate confidentiality policies. Once your DNASecure Cards have been shipped to you, the laboratory retains none of your DNA. Your swabs are destroyed, assuring you that no other analysis can be done.
